Girlguiding UK enables girls and young women to develop their
full potential in many ways.
In order to continue to provide amazing opportunities and
adventures to more than half a million girls and young women, we

Centenary Fund
The Centenary Fund was started as a result of the late Olave
Baden-Powell’s vision to give a girl a dream. The funding
priorities change from time to time to reflect the programme the

GOLD Bursary Fund
GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development) allows
Girlguiding UK members aged between 18 and 30 to take part in
community development projects overseas. The Bursary is given to
girls from areas of deprivation who may find it difficult to raise
the money for their involvement in GOLD projects locally. Read more...
Guide Friendship Fund
Money raised for the Guide Friendship Fund goes to guiding
members in other countries following natural disasters so we can
help them to rebuild. It also goes to units in the UK who need our
