2012 London Marathon
Who is running?
Helen Barton is ecstatic about running the London Marathon 2012 for
Girlguiding UK!
Helen is a guiding Leader from Lewes
who loves to run - of course - and loves to read! Helen has
been in training for weeks and is now starting to fundraise for the
marathon, which takes place on 22 April 2012. She aims to hold
a massive pub quiz and collect money at a London tube station in
order to raise money for thousands of girls and young women across
the UK.
Helen says, 'I'm really pleased to be running
for Girlguiding UK, it gives me even more of a chance to talk to
people about guiding!'.
