How is this project unique?
For one year only units can go into Save the Children shops and take over for the day (or more than one day if you want to!) With a ready made guide to help you will be able to take on this challenge and run your own shop to save children around the world.
Things to think about
Save this children have shops across the UK but if you do not have one locally or the dates are not convenient then there is guidance and support to help you run a pop up shop whenever and where ever you want!
Leaders will be supported by a Regional Coordinator to adopt their shop and guidance is provided on all the logistic.
How will you be taking action?
Raising awareness of the millions of children who are denied basic needs around the world.
Raising money to help save lives all around the world by buying simple things like mosquito nets, food in emergencies, vaccines and health centres.

This is a great challenge for Guides and Senior Section members! We have tested it with a small group of Brownies and they had a great time but they needed lots of help from their Leader.
Members will gain a lot from this project - retail, marketing and all the basics of business are involved to prepare you for your big day in the shop. This is a fantastic project for the Trefoil Guild to have a go at and brush up their retail skills!
