How to take part
- Download The Power of Dreams activity pack.
- Use the activity pack to explore the issues of UK runaways.
- Spread the message for UK runaways by completing one of the 'telling people' activities.
- Hold a fundraising event.
How is this project unique?
The Power of Dreams has been written exclusively for Brownies and Guides with a whole host of activities to explore this issue sensitively.
Things to think about
Rainbow Leaders, Senior Section members, Trefoil Guild members and Leaders can adapt this inspiring pack to raise awareness and funds for this important issue.
Part of the project includes a lobby card that units can send to the MP responsible for UK runaway children.
How will you be taking action?
Raising awareness within Girlguiding UK and in your local community, of the 100,000 children who run away in the UK every year.
Raising money for safe places of refuge for UK runaway children.
