How to take part
- Download the relevant activity pack there is one for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides and Senior Section. Leaders and the Trefoil Guild may adapt any of these packs to take part.
- Use the activity pack in your meeting place to learn about Because I am a Girl. Take a photo. Make a difference and how to get creative.
- Plan and hold your local exhibition to raise awareness and funds.
- Send your pledges and any money raised to Plan.
How is this project unique?
Activity packs for girls, about girls. A chance to enter a national photography exhibition and view your work on a online gallery.
Things to think about
If you have already used Girlguiding UK’s School Days pack then Take a Photo Make a Difference is an excellent follow up project.
The activities require the use of a camera. But don’t worry if you can’t get your hands on one – there are alternative – we are also keen to receive collages and ‘big art’ exhibits!
