Friends of the Earth
Friends of the Earth is the UK’s most influential national environmental campaigning organisation.
We aim to make life better for everyone by inspiring solutions to environmental problems. A healthy planet and a good life for those who depend on it go hand in hand; we believe you don't get one without the other.
By getting involved and taking action on environmental issues, each and every one of us is part of the story. As adults, parents, children, and young people, as consumers, volunteers, at work, at home, and on our travels, we can all make this world a better place.
We work on issues from climate change, waste and transport to global trade, food, and biodiversity. From local, to national, to international, Friends of the Earth works always to put people and planet first.
Why they want to work with you
The next generation is key to safeguarding the planet’s future. Friends of the Earth believe it is essential to involve young people in its work.
The Be a Climate Champion challenge will give members of Girlguiding UK a voice on environmental issues – a voice that will be listened to by Government.
By taking practical action to tackle climate change and trialling a range of lifestyle changes, you will help Friends of the Earth to work out ways the Government could make it easier for families all across the country to lead greener lives.
Together we will call for action!
