Help
Can I volunteer at Crisis Open Christmas?
Yes, if you are 18 or over. Online registration to volunteer opens in October. Don't forget that the centres are usually in central London and you will need to be able to get to and from the centres when public transport might not be running. If you are 16 or 17 then you can volunteer if you have a parent or guardian to accompany you.
Why do we have to send in socks by 5 December 2008?
So that we can sort the socks we have received and package them up for distribution to our centres in time for Christmas.
Can we send second-hand socks?
No, thank you. Our guests at Christmas deserve the same new presents as everyone else!
Why are you only asking for ten pairs of socks?
We don't want you to spend too much money on sending the socks to us. We'd also like to give as many groups as possible the chance to give without being overrun with socks! Also, we only have a limited amount of storage space which the socks will have to share with all the other important things that we need for Crisis Open Christmas.
