How to take part

  1. Download ‘The Power of Humanity what’s it all about’.
  2. Download the passport to record your progress.
  3. Download the first four modules and complete in your meeting place.
  4. Decide which optional modules you would like to take part in and complete. 

How is this project unique?

The Power of Humanity is just for members of Girlguiding UK it is a tremendous resource of skills for members to extend our long legacy of working in partnership with The British Red Cross.

Things to think about?

Do you know what to do in an emergency? These are relevant skills for girls today and can be carried out in your regular meeting place.

This project is suitable for Brownies, Guides, Senior Section members, Leaders and the Trefoil Guild.

Raising awareness of disasters around the world and in the UK and the vital role the Red Cross plays in disaster relief. Find out about the power of becoming a humanitarian citizen.

Taking direct action by learning modern and relevant skills to becoming a humanitarian citizen.

Raising funds for the British Red Cross.
