Asthma Trigger Happy Project
How to take part
- Download the relevant activity pack; there is one for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. Senior Section members, Leaders and the Trefoil Guild may adapt any of these packs to take part.
- Use the resources to take action in your meeting place through fun activities.
- Send funds raised directly to Asthma UK and claim the Ashtma Trigger Happy badge from Asthma UK.
How is this project unique?
Asthma UK has developed a unique Asthma Trigger Happy badge which you can claim on completion of this project.
Things to think about
This is an excellent project to complete in your regular meeting place. The Activity pack is crammed full of ideas to learn about asthma and inspiration for fundraising activities.
Does anyone in your unit have Asthma? This is a great project to sensitively raise awareness of asthma in your unit.
How will you be taking action?
Raising awareness within Girlguiding UK and externally of asthma and asthma triggers.
Taking direct action by learning what to do if someone has an asthma attack.
Raising money to enable children with severe asthma to attend Kick Asthma activity holidays.
