Help
Need some help and advice?
Local guiding contacts can be an excellent
resource to help you solve any problems. Ask
your local Commissioner for her advice. She
might be able to point in they right direction
of someone who can help you.
Other Leaders can also be a great source
for help and advice. Take a look at the
Girlguiding UK: Changing the World forum to see if someone else
knows the answer to your query.
Feel free to
contact the Changing the World team with any queries.
How do I evaluate our project?
For the end of September you will be able to access our online evaluation and tell us how you have been changing the world. This will be hosted in the Tell Us section of the website. Please complete the evaluation when you have finished your Changing the World project. When you have completed the online survey you will be able to download a unique form which you can use to order you badges from Trading Services or use at your local depot. Each Changing the World project is designed to take a minimum of four sessions so please do continue with your project until the evaluation is available.
How do I register for a project?
At the bottom of each of the 19 ‘about this project page’ there is a white box which invited you to submit your email address and register your interest in the specific project. If you submit your email address we are able to contact you with updates and further information on the project should we need to. You can also tell us you are taking part in the project by clicking the ‘count me in’ button on each of the project pages which enables everyone in Girlguiding UK to see how many people are taking action to Change the World.
Where do I send the money we have raised?
If you have raised funds for the Changing the World partner that you have chosen, you can find details on where to send funds by looking in the resource pack that you downloaded. If you are still struggling, take a look at the Sending in your money page.
Do you have any advice on how to print the larger resources effectively?
If you are having difficulties having printing any of the resources some of these tips may help you access the project resources effectively?
- View the projects on screen and print off only the desired pages.
- Copy shops can be a user-friendly and more economical way of printing off large number of pages than a home printer.
- Try to print double sided and in black and white (all of the projects have been tested to ensure they work in black and white)
- Some employers may allow employees to print at work on office printers.
- Remember that printing costs including ink cartridges/toner and paper are legitimate expenses.
- Depending on your location your County may have an office with printing facilities for Leaders.
- Get together locally and see if someone else can help you.
- You can also call Girlguiding UK Membership Services on 0161 9412237 if you have having difficulties and they can offer you support.
Why can't I view the homepage animation?
