Girlguiding UK teamed up with 19 fantastic partner organisations – 18 charities and our guiding friends in the Branch Associations.
In September 2008, Girlguiding UK challenged all our members to take part in one of our partner’s community action projects.
We recorded all our members actions and we are now in the process of adding them up to show that little things make a big difference. Find out what some our members have been doing.

What do our members think will help change the world?
Raising Awareness
Talking about issues that affect us all. This could be raising awareness of climate change solutions, learning about UK runaways or learning what it means to be a humanitarian citizen.
Raising Money
Raise measurable amounts of money for specific projects. We have 33,000 units. If just half of them raised £15 we would have almost a quarter of a million pounds!
Take Direct Action
Doing small things that create a wave of change. This provides opportunities for girls to do actual pieces of action or work.
