Accessibility

This site is designed and built to be accessible and is WAI AAA (or Priority 3) compliant. Audio screen reader users can use special ‘skip’ navigation and ‘jump to main content’ links. The site is laid out using style sheets which conform to the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) See it Right standards. Users can change the style sheets in their browsers to make viewing easier for their individual requirements. The pages are also designed to function without the support of JavaScript and be read hierarchically in text browsers.

Access Keys

This site also supports Access keys functionality to provide convenient keyboard shortcuts for site and page navigation. On a Windows OS hold down Alt + the specified letter — then release the keys and then press Enter or Return. Macintosh users use Command + the specified letter — then release the keys and then press Enter or Return. The Access key functionality used on this site is as follows:

Jump stright to the Key page content

Jump stright to the Footer links (including Site Map link).

This site also supports keyboard tabbing. Hidden text assists some visitors with additional information. The site is built using correctly structured semantic mark–up.
