Activity centres

Girlguiding UK owns a number of Training and Activity Centres around the UK where you can take part in a range of exciting activities or attend one of our fun events.

You can come for just a couple of hours, stay for the weekend or visit for longer on a leisure break. The centres are located at some of the most beautiful spots in the UK, from Broneirion in the glorious Welsh countryside to Netherurd House in the Scottish Border hills. Accommodation varies at each centre and may include camping and single, twin or shared rooms.

Why not visit one of our centres with the girls from your unit and try a range of exciting and challenging activities from assault courses to rifle shooting and canoeing to grass sledge?

Our TACs host a number of fun events for girls such as activity weekends, sleepovers, World Thinking Day celebrations and more.

Adults and Senior Section members can learn new skills at training events.
