Mystic and the Midnight Ride
by Stacy Gregg
A must-have read for any horse lover. Issie loves horses and is a member of the Chevalier Point Pony Club. Life at the
club takes up most of her free time. When she and her
friends are not grooming their horses and training for gymkhanas, the girls are solving mysteries, defeating rivals and saving ponies from danger.

I was never a fan of horse stories when I was a Brownie, but I have to admit that I did like Mystic and the Midnight Ride. It's not just a tale about horses, it has suspense, mystery and a whodunnit feel about it. If you love mysteries and thrillers, but aren't so keen on horses, you'll still like it. But if you love horse stories then you'll love it, especially the relationship that Issie builds up with Blaze.

I love
horses. I go riding at the weekend with my friend
Beth. I saw this book in the shop and bought it
'cause I love reading and horses. I thought the book was good but I cried at the start when the horse died but I was glad when she came back!

I didn't like it.
They made it too sad for me. It would be better if the horse didn't die but
I still thought it was a great book.

It's a good book.
The part when the horse dies is really sad. But apart from that it's a great book.

Even
though I don't like horses, I felt this story was
mysterious and weird. I liked it a lot. I hope
everybody else who reads it, will think so too!

I hated the book.
I didn't get it. I like books that aren't fantasy.
I like info books but I must admit I cried when the horse died.
