My Sister Jodie
by Jacqueline Wilson.
A great book for anyone
who has had an older sister, or has been an
older sister themselves. Jodie and Pearl are
two sisters, who couldn't be more different.
Jodie is loud and confident, whilst Pearl
is quiet and studious. The story focuses on
their move to a new school and how each
sister copes with the change. Pearl adores
her big sister, but can she stand by Jodie
when she gets herself into trouble?

I love reading Jacqueline Wilson books.
Maybe it's because I'm a big kid at
heart, or maybe it's because Jacqueline
Wilson manages to secretly appeal to all
ages. I'm a big sister, so I can relate
to Jodie in this book. She was
definitely my favourite character. I
loved the way that Jacqueline Wilson
described Jodie's unique hairstyles and
clothing choices. The ending has a
surprise twist. I won't spoil it by telling you what it is but it makes
the story stand out in my head.
Excellent! Every Brownie-aged girl
should read this!

I read this book when we first got it in
the school library. My favourite
Jacqueline Wilson book used to be The
Illustrated Mum but now I think this one
is. My favourite character was Harley
'cause he is tall.

I read this book when I was about to start a new school. My fav
Jacqueline Wilson book used to be The
Lottie Project but now it is My
Sister
Jodie. My fav character is Pearl
because she is very quiet and studious.
I really wish I had a big sister, really
do wish. ROCK ON JACQUELINE WILSON!

It's fantastic, it's the best book I've ever read. I
definitely recommend it. My fav characters are Jodie and
Pearl. I liked Jodie because she's a daredevil and I like Pearl because she's
kind. It's a bit sad at the end though.

It's fab! I love it! I'm a big fan of J.W! Pearl is such a shy
character at first and this is such a tragic
story. LOVE IT! Mrs Wilberforce rules!

This book is great! It also has my name in it, although I'm nothing like Freya in the book.
He he he! I enjoyed the part when Jodie was hanging out of the tower window. That was freaky.

I read this book and as I was reading it I felt like I was inside the story. It is a very interesting book that you can't put down once you've picked it up. I love reading Jacqueline Wilson books; they really inspire me. But this book is a real fav. It has an unexpected ending which I found emotionally sad, but I'm not going spoil the ending for you too much! I'd recommend it from aged
nine or ten. It's fantastic, 5 stars.

First Jacqueline Wilson I've read, it's
brilliant. I am a big sister and love black and am very wild so
I'm like Jodie lots.
Amazing book full of adventure, mystery
and scariness and every page sends a new tingle down your spine.
