Flying High

Flying High
by Titania Woods.

It's Twink's first day at her new school, Glitterwings Academy. Like every new girl, she's really worried about whether she'll make friends or whether the others will like her. The only difference is that Twink is no ordinary girl, and Glitterwings is no ordinary academy, but a school for fairies!

Hannah, the Brownie Book Club Editor thinks this...

The first words in this book are 'Hurry Brownie!' How cool is that? Brownie is a mouse that Twink the fairy rides on her very first day to the Glitterwings Academy. This book would be great to read when you are starting a new school. If you love fairies, then you'll love the adventures that happen at Glitterwings Academy. Think The Flower Fairies meets Malory Towers. It's fun, light-hearted, and when you get to the end you've got the excitement of knowing there are more in the series! Brilliant!

Carys, aged eight thinks this...

I tried to read Harry Potter like my brother but I didn't get some of the words. My my mum bought this for me instead and I liked it much better. It's about a school for fairies. I liked Twink and Sooze best. They remind me of me and my best friend Jenny.
