Dragonsdale
by Salamanda Drake
Imagine a world where you go down to the stables, and instead of finding horses, you find dragons! This is the world that Cara lives in. Cara is desperate to compete in the Championships with her beloved dragon Sky but her Dad won't let her. Hannah, the Brownie Book Club Editor thinks this...

Dragonsdale reminds me a bit of the Harry Potter books- full of mystery and adventure. My favourite bit of the book was when Cara and Sky ran away and spent the night on the hills. My favourite character was Sky the dragon. I have a picture of her in my head and I imagine her to be really beautiful with bright green eyes and matching scales.

Amelia, aged eight thinks this...

I don't normally like books about Dragons cos they scare me a litle bit, but this book wasn't so bad. I felt sorry for cara when she couldn't ride sky but I was glad when it all got sorted.

Dragonsdale is one of my favourite books. It has lots of exciting things inside it. Cara and Sky are both friends, and I think they should always be best friends, and I was really happy when Cara's dad let her ride Sky. I love all the dragon books, 1st is Dragonsdale and 2nd is Dragon Keeper. I love dragons and will always love them. I'm glad it was a happy ending!
