Our Chalet
Our Chalet in Switzerland's Bernese Oberland
is one of the four World Centres owned by the World Association of
Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). It is set in grounds of more
than four acres overlooking the village of Adelboden, a popular
skiing and hiking area surrounded by spectacular alpine
scenery.
Activities
Our Chalet offers guests a wide range of activities
depending on the season. They include:
- hiking and camp craft
- winter sports and activities such as snow shoeing,
cross-country skiing, sledging, and igloo-building
- shopping, visits to museums and to a chocolatier!

Accommodation and booking
During June, July and August, Our Chalet holds special sessions
for Girl Guides and Girl Scouts aged 13 to 18. At other times of
the year, it is open to anyone for bookings on a flexible
basis.

Volunteering
Our Chalet is currently looking for volunteers. They have spaces
all year round so they will try to fit you in whenever you are
