Broneirion is a beautiful Victorian house nestling in its own grounds on a hillside, across the river Severn from the village of Llandinam, mid-Wales.

In 1992 it became the property of Girlguiding Cymru and in 1997 celebrated 50 years of being used for guiding. With the glorious surrounding Welsh countryside, it makes an ideal base from which to visit the mountains and the coast.

For guiding and leisure

Activities

A small range of activities are held on site such as trails, orienteering and bouldering. Broneirion has close links with other activity centres nearby, which offer a wider range. If you have a disability, please call the centre to discuss what activities you will be able to take part in and any special assistance required.

Events

Broneirion runs an interesting and wide-ranging programme of trainings for adult Leaders. Full details of trainings are available in our Broneirion Training Diary - please contact us for a copy.

We also offer family holidays, walking events and Trefoil Guild holidays. Unit holidays and mid-week breaks can be arranged in the house on a catered or self-catering basis.

Residential

We offer comfortable accommodation in the house for up to 45 people in a selection of single, twin and shared rooms. We also have two comfortable self-contained self-catering flats, both accommodating up to four people. There is one bedroom and bathroom suitable for wheelchair users.
