Norwegian Rover Moot 2012

'Back to Basic' is the theme for the Norwegian Rover Moot 2012. The Camp will be recreating the World's first Scout camp on Brownsea Island, but will be bigger and more Norwegian!

Each day will have its own theme, including chivalry, lifesaving, good turn and woodcraft. It will focus on 'old-fashioned' scouting activities done in 'roverstyle'.

When?
30 June - 7 July 2012

Where?
Sjöröd campsite in Sweden. Sjöröd is in the Southern Scout District's camp area, located in beautiful Österlen. Sjöröd is located just outside of Simrishamn on the shore of Lake Gyllebo. At the lake's north end is a swimming area with a sandy beach. The camp is situated within an incredibly beautiful and varied landscape. Highly recommended is a trip on the pioneering track to experience what Sjöröd has to offer.
