interNational Jamboree 2012
Celebrate 100 years of Guiding and Scouting in Iceland and
join Guides, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders from all over the world
on this amazing camp.
When?
20 - 29 July 2012.
Where?
The Ulfljotsvatn Scout Centre. Lake Ulfljotsvatn is approximately
45km from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Ulfljotsvatn Scout
Centre has been a centre for outdoors activities, Leader training
and camps for Icelandic Scouts and Guides since 1941.
What's happening?
Most of the activities will be outdoor-based with climbing,
abseiling, canoeing, kayaking, rowing and four-person pedal
boats. The lake is also an ideal location for fishing.
Who's going?
Scouts and Guides aged 11 - 18 years old. Adults can attend as
members of the Staff Team, or as Leaders with their group.
How much does it cost?
The Jamboree fee is €350 per person. For members of the Staff Team
it is €275. Included in the price: food, activities, special
Jamboree items and lots more!
