Achieving the Queen's Guide Award

On the 4th July 2010 I was presented with the Queen's Guide
Award for the first time by my Division Commissioner in front of
family, friends and members of the guiding community. I felt that
this achievement was made extra-special to me by the fact that it
took place during our Centenary year, and I was also pleased to
have my photo taken with my mum, auntie, cousin and grandmother,
with all of us in uniform - that's three generations of guiding
members on my mother's side.
