Win a winter trip for your Brownie unit Thanks to Princes canned fruit, you and your
Brownie group could win the chance to go on a special winter treat to
start the New Year in style. Princes will contribute towards a great day out for all the unit* as well as a supply of delicious canned fruit that can be enjoyed all-year round. To be in with a chance of winning this New Year treat, all you need to do is design a poster around a delicious recipe which you have created using one of the Princes canned fruits range. You can base your recipe ideas around Princes peaches, pears, mandarins, pineapple, fruit cocktail or grapefruit. You can work on your own or as part of a group; with your parent, guardian or unit Leader - you can let your imaginations run wild when you get in to the kitchen. You could create a batch of peach muffins or a yummy pear crumble, or be even be more adventurous and make an exotic smoothie by whizzing together some canned pineapple with banana – it’s completely up to you! Then take some photos and add it to your poster. You don’t have to write out the whole recipe, just make sure you include the recipe name, a picture and the name of the Princes canned fruit of choice. We can't wait to see your creations!  Princes' canned fruit are a great ingredient for
breakfast, lunch or dinner recipes, or even as a quick snack. The
fruit counts towards one of your five a day, there are no artificial
preservatives and the fruit comes ripe and ready to eat in easy-

The most creative recipe idea will win a day out, of their choice,
for the whole Brownies group, which might be a trip to the
pantomime, ice skating, an adventure trip or an excursion to a new city.
 *Competition rules
• Entries must be received no later than midnight on 14 December
• Entries will be accepted from Brownies only • Entries will be judged on creativity, effort and attention to detail • Please get your parent or guardians' permission before making any recipes or buying any products. • The winner will be selected by a panel of judges. The judges' overall decision is final • The winner will be notified by 21 December. • A £750 contribution will be made towards the trip which is at the discretion of the Leader and will be in close proximity to the location of your weekly unit meeting. • Accommodation is not included in the prize. Refreshments are at the discretion of the group Leader. • The supply of canned fruit will be a case of peaches, pears, pineapple mandarins, grapefruit, and fruit cocktail for each member of the unit. • The prize has no cash alternative. • The date of the winter treat will be arranged with the winning unit's Leader at their convenience, prior to 29 February 2012.
