You must wear appropriate safety equipment that is in good condition when taking part in watersports.
1.
**In a pool with lifeguard cover:
– swim 50 metres
– stay afloat for five minutes.
**Show how to put on a personal buoyancy aid.
2.
**Know why you should shower or wash after taking part in watersports.
**Know how to stop getting cold or injured when taking part in watersports..
3. Take part in at least four sessions from one of the following watersports, or a similar water activity:
*canoeing
*rafting
*rowing
*sailing
*water-skiing
*windsurfing.
4. For your chosen watersport:
**Show the tester what you would wear.
**Know the safety rules.
